Notification of major interest

In accordance with the Listing Rules of the Financial Services Authority, BIOQUELL PLC (“BIOQUELL”) discloses that it has been informed by Standard Life Investments Ltd (“Standard Life”) as agent for Vidacos Nominees that Vidacos Nominees has bought 275,000 BIOQUELL ordinary shares (“Shares”), representing approximately 0.66% of BIOQUELL’s issued ordinary share capital.
 
Following this transfer, Standard Life has a holding of 2,150,159 Shares, representing approximately 5.2% of BIOQUELL’s issued ordinary share capital.
