Purchase of ordinary shares

In accordance with the FSA Disclosure and Transparency Rules, BIOQUELL PLC discloses that it was notified by Mr Andrew Muir pursuant to DTR 5.1.2(1) on 15 July 2008 that he had purchased BIOQUELL PLC ordinary shares (“Shares”) and his total holding now comprises 2,150,257 Shares representing approximately 5.2% of the issued Share capital.
